The Paranoyds Depict California Stardom In 'Egg Salad' Music Video

 

Remember the “Parasites Lost” episode of Futurama? It’s the one where Fry eats a bathroom vending machine egg salad sandwich, and the worms dramatically boost his intelligence and health. Sometimes I have to wonder if The Paranoyds also stumbled upon some rotten source of superpowers, because their videos take no hostages when capturing the viewer’s attention.

One of Carnage Bargain’s many irresistible bangers thanks to its sick riot grrrl riffs, “Egg Salad” at last gets the video treatment. Directed by Nicole Stunwyck, “Egg Salad” depicts a valley teen who dreams of rising and falling from stardom after watching a beauty pageant on a wood-paneled television and feasting on aspic abominations. Check it out above, and hopefully we can all Noyd Rage again soon.
