Spires of Humanism and Zen in FEELS’ Latest Single: “NIGHT WALKER”

FEELS have been making waves in the Los Angeles music scene with their politicized-angst and counter-cultural drive—all symptoms true to grunge and punk’s form. Their latest single, “NIGHT WALKER,” takes a more spacious and meditative approach to the band’s primary themes. And that makes the single such a fresh listen.

One word, or ideology, defines “NIGHT WALKER”: Humanism. Forget wealth and forget your own constraints of fear. It’s a message explored in crooked alleyways and foreign faces. Or, as the official music video demonstrates, it’s a message explored in one’s own room and personal haze.

“NIGHT WALKER” is an empowerment of the self on the simple merit of being human. In an increasingly digitized and corporatized world, it’s a message that needs to be heard.

“NIGHT WALKER” comes from FEELS’ forthcoming E.P., Subversive Reaction, releasing July 22nd. Give it a spin today, and mark your calendars for Subversive Reaction’s release!
