Reckling Crawls Into Your Nightmares With 'Spiders' Music Video

Los Angeles, CA punk-rock band Reckling bring arachnophobia front-and-center in the hypnotic new music video for their track ‘Spiders’

I’ve been fanged by black widows, fought arm-up camel spiders in the desert, and have been trapped in a garage where hundreds of newly-born harvestmen descended on top of me. Experiences like this have made me somewhat of an arachnophobe and yet I still continue to torture myself by looking at videos and photos of spiders more often then not. Why? - because they’re fucking cool.

In the Derek Perlman-directed music video for their latest track ‘Spiders’, Los Angeles, CA based punk-band Reckling blends cult symbolism with lipstick-smearing and b-roll of our favorite web-spinning creatures into a beautifully hypnotic sequence. Lead-singer and guitarist Kelsey Reckling stares right through you as her face is painted red between cuts of nature and uncomfortable hair strokes. It’s kind of terrifying but like me staring a pics of my phobia - you won’t be able to look away because it’s just so fucking cool.
